Now planning permission has been granted we are looking forward to commencing Phase 1 of the project at a budgeted cost of £500,000.
This will enable us to carry out the civil engineering work from the completed
flood defences down to the site of the new station in Bala and then the track from the station to the south eastern end of the flood defences. That will be two thirds of the route.
